"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are." C.Jung
Every person moves through life with a unique mind, body, and soul. For this reason, my counseling approach is integrative and tailored to each client. I often draw upon attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and relational-cultural theory (RCT), as these frameworks emphasize the power of relationships in shaping who we are and who we are becoming.
Together, we'll explore your life's contexts (your history, culture, strengths, challenges, values, interests, relationships, environments, identities, and goals) to determine the best path forward. Whether your journey involves complete sobriety or a more moderated approach, I will listen deeply as we work collaboratively, to understand what matters most to you.
I view counseling as an invitation to reflect on your life's direction, to get to know yourself on a deeper level, and to align with "who you truly are." You are the healer. I simply offer another set of eyes and ears to help you find and follow your inner compass. If you're ready to begin this journey, I would be honored to walk with you.
"The spontaneous movement in all of us is toward connection, health, and aliveness. No matter how withdrawn and isolated we have become or how serious the trauma we have experienced, on the deepest level, just as a plant spontaneously moves toward sunlight, there is in each of us an impulse moving toward connection and healing."
-Dr. Laurence Heller
